Centre for Family Business and Entrepreneurship

The Centre of Excellence for Family Business and Entrepreneurship at IMNU is dedicated to create a vibrant Entrepreneurial ecosystem within the campus by promoting entrepreneurship and innovation within the student community. Though the Centre was born keeping the specific requirements of MBA-Family business & Entrepreneurship students, yet the work and stakeholdership goes much beyond catering to the Family business Programme as the activities are organized keeping the requirements of all students of all programmes across all domains of the Institute. This means that the Students of MBA-Full time, MBA-HRM, BBA and BBA-MBA Integrated can also participate and gain effectively through mentoring and support along with participation in its activities.

Within a very short time since its initiation as a Centre of Excellence for family business and Entrepreneurship, it has dedicated itself to provide its services to the entrepreneurship community of the institute.  It has been providing mentoring support to student innovators through ideation, proof of concept and business creation, advising startups, and lending support towards funding support provision through SSIP programme a well as networking with Government and other Venture capital sources for leveraging funding support. It has been working hard to creating a network platform consisting of acclaimed academicians from India and abroad, entrepreneurs and researchers across multitudes of domains along with support agencies and labs at Nirma University. It is also leveraging its expertise to work in collaboration with Governments at the Centre and States to kick-start various entrepreneurial programmes which could be beneficial to the grassroot community as well as the marginalized sections of the society. It aims to conduct high value executive training programmes with skill based consultancy to interested stakeholders as and when required.  One of the highlights of the Centre is the emphasis on venture opportunity exploitation which are more viable, sustainable with highest impact potential.

The Centre also guides the students to take part in the various events organized nationally and internationally.
