The Centre aims at capacity building and counselling of University/higher education institution’s female students and alumni; also industry workforce and social groups. This centre is developed with support of European Union under Erasmus+ Programme and with help of partner universities in the RAINBOW Research Project.

![]() Dr. Nina MuncherjiCentre Head Email: nmuncherji@nuicone.org She is working as an Assistant Professor in the faculty of Finance with the Institute of Management, Nirma University (IMNU), India. She is the Programme Chairperson of the Integrated BBA-MBA Programme at IMNU. A Doctorate and post-graduate in Management with majors in Finance from Gujarat University, she has a work-experience of more than fourteen years, shared between the corporate world and academics. She teaches subjects in core finance and finance specialization. Her corporate experience enables her to provide the students with a rich mélange of management theories and relevant corporate practices. She is inclined towards research in areas of financial services, gender studies, entrepreneurial education, business ethics, and has presented several papers in Conferences and has won awards for the same. Her doctoral work helped her gain immense insight on gender equality as it comprised of studying the impact of micro-finance on women empowerment. She has over thirty publications in national and international journals to her credit. She has worked on a Minor Research Project funded by Nirma University in 2017-18. ![]() Dr. Sapna ParasharMember Email: sapna@nuicone.org Sapna Parashar is faculty in the area of Marketing and has been engaged in teaching and research from the last twenty years and has more than fifty publications in refereed journal and prominent management journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production. She has also published more than 15 cases in The Case Center, UK and has co-edited five books to her credit . She has also presented papers in International and National conferences. Besides this, she has been involved in conducting training programs for reputed industries like Adani, Grasim, BPCL, Inspiron, Hitachi to name a few. She is life member for Indian Society of Training and Development. Her areas of interest include teaching and training in marketing which includes retail marketing, rural marketing, consumer behavior, service marketing and human values. Her areas of interest include Talent Management, labor Laws and Generation Y in the workforce. She is reviewer of Asian Journal of Management Cases, published by Sage Publications India. She is also the recipient of ” Emerging HRD Thinkers Award”, conferred by ISTD, New Delhi. She has published research papers in international and national journals. She has also presented papers in national and international conferences. She has also written case studies primarily on contemporary issues on Human Resource Management like role of inherent biases in Performance management, HR integration in the merger and acquisition, role of corporate culture etc. Dr. Poonam Chhaniwal was also the chairperson of NICOM 2021 – Nirma International Conference on Management. She has been associated with Nirma University for about two decades, heading the Management and Commerce library. She is also in charge of all campus libraries as a Chief Librarian. She did her Bachelors in Botany and Chemistry from Lucknow University and holds a PhD degree in Library Science on the topic ‘Relation between Emotional Intelligence and Creativity of library professionals’. She has keen interest in the topics related to Library services, user studies and HR studies. The third consortium meeting for the EU Project-RAINBOW was held from 2nd to 4th Dec, 2019 at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This meeting had discussions on project management issues and handbook, concept presentation on setting up of the Rainbow Centre and dissemination activities along with setting of milestones to be achieved.
The RAINBOW Centre of the Institute organized an online expert lecture by Ms. Praggatti Rao on ‘ Breaking Stereotypes and Adopting Diversity at Workplace.’ Ms. Rao talked about various levels of stereotypes, alpha-beta bias, the stereotype content model, and its consequences. She concluded the session with notes on how to manage stereotypes and ways to adopt diversity.
