65% of the total in-take shall be filled from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from schools located in India (including Gujarat State) and have appeared in the personal interview to be conducted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad for the corresponding academic year.

The admission will be offered to the candidates from the schools located within the state of Gujarat with minimum 90% aggregate marks in their first attempt. However, the admission will be offered to the candidates from the Gujarat Board and all other Boards proportionately, based on the number of applications received and meeting the eligibility criteria.
The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination recognized by Nirma University from the schools located within the State of Gujarat with minimum 90% aggregate marks at first attempt.

15% of the total intake of the BBA-MBA [Five Year Integrated Programme] will be filled by Institute of Management, Nirma University with following eligibility criteria.
(A) For NRI (Self)
(B) For NRI Sponsored
NRI Sponsored candidates will have to produce a sponsorship letter from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire degree program. Documentary evidence of Sponsorer having NRI Status must also be produced.

In case of Letter Grades/Performance Indices or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is required from school authorities on the day of confirmation of admission

The international students can apply under one of the following two categories:
Category 1 : Foreign Nationals having non-Indian passports (FN), OR foreign students having a non-Indian passport and also having the OCI or PIO card (OCI/PIO) can apply under OCI/PIO/FN Supernumerary category that has 10% seats reserved. The students from SAARC countries can apply under the FN category, however, they will be charged the fees as per the Indian National regular fees.
Category 2 : Students whose parents are currently working in Gulf countries or South-East Asia can apply under the CIWGC-SEA Supernumerary category that has 5% seats reserved. The students must hold Indian passports and should have passed qualifying exams either from India or outside India.

Scholarship Scheme for the students admitted in Integrated BBA-MBA [BBA Phase] for Academic Year 2021-2022.
The Nirma University provides scholarships to meritorious students studying in the programmes under it on the Merit and Merit-cum Means basis. The scholarship mentioned is subject to the regulatory provisions and meeting with prescribed criteria, as may be decided by the university from time to time.

The number of scholarships mentioned above is maximum and may vary from year to year depending upon the number of NRI seats filled-in every year.
The specified scheme will be modified proportionately depending upon the actual admission of students in Gujarat category for the particular batch. However, the total scholarship will remain the same.
The students admitted under NRI, Persons of Indian Origin, Foreign Nationals or Children of Indian Workers in Gulf – South-East Asian Countries categories will not be eligible for such scholarships.
The President will have power to make any exception in the above rules framed. However, in case of doubt; if any, in interpretation of any clause, the decision of the President will be final.
